It is also available with communications for use in LAV or other armored vehicles with intercoms such as the VIC-1/VIS or motorcycles or quads with man worn or vehicle mounted radios such as the MBITR (PRC-148) style radios. The helmet provides sound attenuation as noted in Product Specification PS -0146.

The MMH-II is available in three sizes: Small, Medium/Large and X-Large, and in a variety of shell colors, including Olive Drab, Desert Tan, Black and Foliage Green.
